Meek/ Bennett Paddles
Bennett Surfboards is proud to announce our newly formed alliance with Chad Meek of Meek Kayaks in Victoria. Chad has has developed, in conjunction with Greg Bennett, 4 new blade types for the Bennett range,
all 100% Australian made!
They are the Sprint II, MicroSprint II, BV IV and Evolution Micro blades. We also have two different lay-ups available in each, either 'Surf' or 'Lightweight'. Coupled with a range of varying stiffness/ weighted shafts they are fast becoming the biggest selling blades in our range and the blade of choice for many of the paddling 'elite'.

Bennett Sprint Series
Sprint Paddle
This model (introduced way back in 1994) is based along the lines of the highly regarded European Gut medium blade.
Over the years the Original Sprint has been a very popular choice of hundreds of paddlers, in particular racing ski competitors who want a robust dependable paddle at a reasonable price. Yes, the paddle is heavier than the Epic and Jantex paddles but over time still proves to be a steady seller with its thicker stronger carbon laminate and highly durable epoxy carbon / Kevlar shaft
MicroSprint Paddle
The baby of our paddle range, the “Micro” was developed by Cameron McFadzen, then a paddler affiliated with the A.I.S. Canoeing facility on the Gold Coast back in 1995.
A need was there for a shorter blade than the Sprint, to allow paddlers to maintain a desired higher stroke rating without exhausting them at mainly Sprint distances, especially females (without sounding too sexist).
Very popular choice for cadet and junior level male and female for ski paddling, adult lady touring kayaker, not so fit or strong open male paddler, a person who wishes to increase stroke rating and much sought after model for male masters level racing ski competitor.
Please remember when it all boils down, use what feels most comfortable for YOU — not necessarily what your friend or opponent uses and most importantly paddle for your enjoyment, don’t make it a prison sentence!!
